Whatever your manufacturing and product needs, there is a good chance NYCO has a grade of wollastonite designed to meet them. Using our state-of-the-art milling and processing facilities, NYCO generates a large number of specific grades within three general grade categories.
High-aspect grades, mainly valued for their strength properties, are produced by special attrition milling to maintain the integrity of their particle size and aspect ratios. Powder grades, used in a range of applications from paint to ceramics to mold fluxes are produced on ball or pebble mills and ground to mesh size specifications. Fine particle size grades are produced by milling and air classifying to a top and median size specification.
NYCO’s chemical modification technology allows further customization of the mineral to suit specific applications.
